Terms

Plain terms.

  • Hullpick is a guide to boat types. Its figures are typical for each type, not the specifications of any boat. Check the boat's capacity plate, the builder's numbers, your vehicle's towing rating and your local rules before you buy, rent, tow or launch.
  • It is not safety training, a marine survey or financial advice. Take a boating safety course (NASBLA lists the state-approved ones; the U.S. Coast Guard sets the federal rules), and have a used boat surveyed by a qualified surveyor.
  • The Crowd Tally is a casual, anonymous poll about boat types. It is not a statement about any builder, model, dealer or person.
  • Prices: Hullpick Pass $1.95/month or $19.50/year; Shopping-Week Pass $1.00 for 7 days. Payments are not switched on yet: during the preview everything is free and no payment is taken. When they are, a subscription can be cancelled any time and runs to the end of the paid period.
  • The site is provided as it is. We may change or end features; we will not change a price for a period already paid.
  • Hullpick is run by WeldonPC.com, Garfield Heights, Ohio. It is not affiliated with Badoo Media Ltd or the Bumble group, or with any boat builder, dealer, marina or the U.S. Coast Guard.
